Elderly man dies following two-vehicle crash in Baltimore County

An 85-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle crash in Baltimore County last Friday, according to Baltimore County Police. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on June 26 in the area of Pulaski Highway and Born Lane next to Gunpowder State Park. According to a preliminary investigation, a 2017 Subaru Outback was traveling westbound on Pulaski Highway when the driver attempted to make a U-turn and was struck by an eastbound 2016 Honda Odyssey. ALSO READ | Police investigate deadly motorcycle crash on Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City Police said the Subaru's driver, identified as 85-year-old Karl Pfrommer, was taken to an area hospital with injuries sustained in the crash. On June 27, Pfrommer was pronounced dead. A passenger in the Honda Odyssey suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to a local hospital for treatment. Members of the Baltimore County Police Department's Crash Team are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
