Eastbound I-44 shut down after overnight crash near downtown St. Louis
ST. LOUIS - All lanes on eastbound Interstate 44 were shutdown Wednesday morning after a crash near downtown St. Louis. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), the crash occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on eastbound I-44 past Park Avenue. A preliminary investigation indicated that the crash involved a motorcycle. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. Traffic is being diverted on to 7th Street as crews work to clear the scene.
