E-bike rider dies in crash with car in Northeast Portland
PORTLAND, Ore .(KOIN) -- A e-bike rider has died after a crash involving another vehicle in Northeast Portland Tuesday evening. Just after 6:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of the crash at Northeast Halsey Street and 111th Avenue. Officials said paramedics arriving at the scene took the bike rider to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said. During the on-scene investigation, Northeast Halsey Street will be closed between Northwest 111th and 113th Avenues. Anyone with further information on this incident is encouraged to contact Portland police.
