E-bike crash on the Boise Bench turns deadly, claims young boys' life
A motorcycle v. E-bike crash that occurred Thursday evening turned deadly after the juvenile rider died of his injuries in the hospital. Boise Police and Fire responded just after 8:00 pm to the area of Phillippi St. and Morris Hill Rd. for a reported injury crash. Police say that a motorcyclist was traveling north when he collided with two juveniles who were riding on an E-bike heading westbound. The motorcycle was being ridden by an adult male who was transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The E-bike was being ridden by a juvenile male and female. The driver, the young man, was transported to the hospital, where he unfortunately died of his injuries. The juvenile female was also transported with what police say was minor injuries. Detectives are still reconstructing the scene.
