DUI charges set for driver after accident in Williston leaves one dead
WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — A pedestrian has passed away after a crash that took place Friday morning on the east side of Williston. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Friday morning at about 3 a.m. CT, a 1993 GMC Sierra was heading east on Highway 1804 when it hit a man who was reportedly walking in the roadway. The pedestrian, a 23-year-old man from Wyoming, has died as a result of injuries sustained in this crash. The driver, a 19-year-old man from Montana, was not injured. He is being charged with criminal vehicular injury, DUI, and minor in possession.
