Driver seriously hurt after single-vehicle crash on Route 288 in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver was seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash on Route 288 in Chesterfield County Thursday afternoon. At about 12:24 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, Virginia State Police troopers were called to a single-vehicle crash on Route 288 north of Courthouse Road. According to police, the vehicle overturned and the driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the south right lane and right shoulder are closed as of 1:09 p.m. The crash is still actively under investigation.
