Driver killed in tree collision in Rolette County
ROLETTE COUNTY, N.D. (KXNET) — Authorities investigate fatal single vehicle crash in Rolette County. According to the North Dakota State Patrol, on May 30, 2026, at approximately 1:59 a.m., a 49-year-old male driving a Chevrolet Silverado K1500 was traveling southbound on 28th Avenue Northeast, south of the intersection with 99th Street Northeast. The drive failed to negotiate a curve, lost control, and struck a tree. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota State Patrol.
