Driver issued citation after a fatal crash in October
A driver has been cited after a head-on crash in October killed a 16-year-old girl. According to state police, at around 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 5, 23-year-old Kyle Hunt was driving west in a Subaru Crosstrek on Richardson Road when he turned in front of a Kawasaki KLX140 dirt bike driven by a 16-year-old girl that was heading east. There was a head-on collision. The dirt bike driver was unresponsive and despite lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.Hunt has been issued a citation for gross negligent operation with death resulting and obstruction of justice. He will be in court on Feb. 25.
