Driver in Anthony Joshua Crash Out of Hospital, May Face Charges

Several days following the car crash that harmed Anthony Joshua and resulted in the death of two of his trainers, the driver responsible for the incident has been released from the hospital and may face legal consequences for his involvement. According to a police spokesperson speaking to The Guardian Nigeria, the driver, who was employed for the journey, has engaged with authorities to provide his perspective on the event. Reports suggest that he could potentially be charged with reckless driving due to the events of Monday's collision. The driver of the truck that Joshua's vehicle collided with fled the scene and is now being pursued by law enforcement. The tragic incident occurred on the busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway and claimed the lives of Joshua's trainer comrades, Sina Ghami and Kevin "Latif" Ayodele. While the 36-year-old boxer, who recently defeated Jake Paul in the ring, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Numerous members of the boxing community, including Paul himself, have expressed their condolences and support for Joshua and those affected by the crash. Reflecting on the incident, Paul emphasized the importance of life over the sport of boxing and offered his thoughts and prayers. As of now, Joshua has not yet spoken on the matter.
