Driver in Anthony Joshua car crash has trial hearing postponed to February 25

The driver involved in the tragic accident that injured Anthony Joshua and caused the death of two of his team members had their trial adjourned until next month. Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode faces charges including dangerous driving causing death, reckless driving, and driving without a valid license. The trial was briefly heard in Sagamu Magistrate's Court in Nigeria before being postponed to February 25 at the prosecution's request. Joshua, after being injured in the accident, returned to London following treatment. The driver, Kayode, was granted bail and remained in custody until meeting the bail conditions. Joshua, who has Nigerian roots, was in the country following his boxing match in Miami. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, emphasized that Joshua himself will decide when to return to boxing, and there is no rush for him to make a decision.
