Driver hurt in Windham tree collision
A driver in Windham had to be rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night after crashing into a tree on Gray Road, with authorities suspecting alcohol may have been a factor. 36-year-old Derek Patnaude, the driver, was extracted from the vehicle by emergency responders and transported to Maine Medical Center for treatment. The road was blocked off for some time while authorities looked into the incident, but has since been cleared. The investigation by the police is still in progress.
