Driver facing aggravated vehicular homicide, driving without a license charges after fatal crash

A driver is facing charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide, following a fatal crash over the weekend.21-year-old Alex Temoxtle appeared in court Monday, charged with causing a fatal crash near the entrance to Mercy West Hospital. The traffic ticket shows that Temoxtle does not have a driver's license. Green Township police said he rear-ended another car shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday. In court, prosecutors said an affidavit indicated he failed to maintain assured clear distance, striking another vehicle, resulting in a death.The coroner said 64-year-old Kimberly Stepp died at Mercy West. A judge set Temoxtle's bond at $10,000 for the aggravated vehicular manslaughter charge.He's also facing charges of driving without a license and assured cleared distance.A judge ordered Temoxtle not to drive as a condition to bond.
