Driver confesses to causing deadly 2024 accident
In Dayton, Ohio, a man named Christopher Matheney recently admitted guilt in a case where a woman lost her life in a Trotwood crash back in 2024. Matheney pleaded guilty to a single count of vehicular homicide, and as part of the plea deal, two misdemeanor charges of OVI were dismissed. The incident took place at the junction of Free Pike and State Route 49 in September 2024, involving Matheney crashing into 33-year-old Lakeisha Brown, who tragically died in the collision. Matheney's sentencing is set for February 13.
