Driver arrested after crashing car with children during chase in OKC
Authorities in southeast Oklahoma City arrested a driver who crashed a vehicle with children onboard after a pursuit on Saturday evening. The incident began when an officer attempted to stop the driver for speeding near Interstate 35 and Northeast 10th Street around 6 p.m. The driver refused to halt, leading to a chase that ended on Southeast 59th Street and Lindsey Avenue, with the vehicle rolling over and hitting a telephone pole. The driver sustained an injury and was taken to a nearby hospital. Police confirmed that two adults and two children were in the car, but it's unclear if the others were hurt.
