Driver allegedly drove over 100 mph in Virginia crash that resulted in two deaths, according to police

Authorities reported that the driver involved in a tragic crash on Christmas night along Interstate 495 in Fairfax County was driving at a speed of over 100 mph. Devin Juliana, 48, of Steubenville, Ohio, is facing charges of reckless driving in relation to the incident. The collision occurred when Juliana struck a minivan from behind while heading east on the Capital Beltway in the Tysons Corner area around 10:39 p.m. The crash resulted in severe damage to the minivan's rear passenger section, causing it to be pushed into the Express Lanes. All five occupants of the minivan were taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, two passengers, a 75-year-old woman identified as Su Nguyen of Annandale, Va., and a 15-year-old juvenile, did not survive their injuries. Officials mention that further charges may be brought against Juliana, with efforts underway to locate him for warrant service and questioning. The investigators are continuing to look into the details of the crash.
