Disruption in Denver Metra Area Following RTD A-Line Train Accident
The A-line train service in the Denver metro area faced delays on Tuesday due to an incident involving a train and a pickup truck at Sable Boulevard crossing in Aurora. The collision occurred before 10 a.m., with the truck allegedly using the wrong side of the road while the crossing arms were down. Fortunately, only one person sustained minor injuries among the 50 passengers on board the A-line. Authorities are currently searching for the truck involved, and witnesses to the crash are encouraged to provide information. The Aurora Police Department is leading the investigation. A temporary bus shuttle between Central Park and 40th-Airport stations was arranged during the disruption, with service returning to normal after the incident was resolved.
