Director Bill Martin dies while crossing street in Richmond
Bill Martin, the director of the Valentine museum in Richmond, tragically passed away after being struck by a driver while walking in downtown Richmond. The incident occurred at the intersection of East Broad and North 10th streets, where Martin was hit while in a crosswalk. The driver remained at the scene, and Martin was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his wounds the following day. The driver faces pending charges according to the Richmond Police Crash Team investigation.
