Deadly single-vehicle accident claimed life of Rayne man
UPDATE 6:30 p.m.: According to the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office a Rayne man has died as the result of a single vehicle accident. The victim's family has been notified, and the driver has been identified as Gerald Paddio, 60 of Rayne. The accident revealed that for unknown reason, the driver's vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert. The driver was ejected and died from his injuries at the scene. ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- Acadia Parish Sheriff officials confirmed an accident near Ebenezer Road in Acadia Parish about a mile from S&S crawfish, officials said.
