Deadly motorcycle crash blocks I-5 southbound at Marquam Bridge in Portland

A deadly motorcycle crash has Interstate 5 southbound closed just south of the Marquam Bridge Friday evening, Portland Police said. The crash was reported at about 6:15 p.m. at the southbound I-5 exit ‘299A/Lake Oswego.’ First responders say they arrived to find a motorcycle rider dead. Initial reports state there were no other vehicles involved. This is the second motorcyclist to die in a crash on Interstate 5 in Portland in the last two days. Yesterday another rider died on I-5 northbound.
