Deadly motorcycle accident causes lane closures near Rocky Mountain High School
A young motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a collision with a pickup truck near Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian. Fortunately, no students were involved in the incident. Despite efforts by local authorities to save the rider, they were unable to do so. The victim, aged 20 and wearing a helmet, was riding a Kawasaki sports bike on Linder Road when the collision occurred with a Jeep Gladiator. Roadway sections are currently closed for investigation purposes. In response, the West Ada School District has developed a plan to address traffic delays during the school dismissal.
