Deadly crash reported between Carroll County police car, pickup truck: MSHP
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) says a deadly crash has closed MO-139 Highway in Carroll County, north of County Road 220. The two-vehicle crash between a pickup and a Carroll County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle. At this time, MSHP says the road is blocked and is advising drivers to use an alternate route for the time being. The highway patrol confirmed that the driver of the pickup truck was the one who died in the crash. They were pronounced dead at the scene. The Carroll County deputy has been taken to a hospital with serious injuries. This is a developing story; FOX4 will provide updates as they're made available.
