Deadly crash closes I-25 southbound north of Denver
DENVER (KDVR) — Interstate 25 southbound is closed north of the Denver metro area Monday morning due to a deadly crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The crash is between Colorado 119 and Colorado 66. A Colorado State Patrol spokesperson said the crash happened in a construction zone. A Ford super duty pickup truck and a work van collided, and the truck rolled over, the spokesperson said. The truck driver died at the scene, and the van driver did not report any injuries. CDOT said all drivers have to exit the interstate at Weld County Road 34, and CSP said there is no estimated reopening time. This is a developing story and will be updated.
