Deadly crash at Harter Rd. and Smart Rd. in Allendale County
Tragically, a fatal crash occurred in Allendale County, South Carolina, resulting in the loss of one person's life. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred on Thursday, December 11th around 11:20 P.M. on Harter Road near Smart Road, just south of Fairfax. The driver of a 2010 Lexus was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the incident. SCHP stated that the driver, heading west on Harter Road, veered off the road, hitting a fence and a tree before succumbing to their injuries at the scene.
