Deadly collision: Car collides with semi truck in Town of Burnett.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office reported that a driver collided head-on with a semi in the Town of Burnett early Thursday morning, resulting in the car driver's death. The incident occurred on County Highway A near Prospect Road in Burnett around 6:20 a.m. after a citizen reported the car driving recklessly, ultimately crashing into the semi. The car driver, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene; their identity and hometown are currently being investigated. The semi driver, a 38-year-old man from Burnett, was unharmed and was assessed on-site by medical responders. Emergency services from various departments provided assistance, including Horicon Fire Department and EMS, Burnett Fire Department and First Responders, Juneau Fire Department, and the Dodge County Medical Examiner.
