Deadly accident shuts down Salado road; motorists advised to seek alternative paths.
The Bell County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Texas Highway Patrol to look into a deadly accident that occurred on Saturday at Ridgeway Drive and Farm-to-Market Road 2484, west of Salado. Multiple emergency vehicles, including those from the Salado Fire Department, AMR Medical Services, and PHI Air Medical, rushed to the location. Officials advise drivers to take different routes or anticipate traffic delays in the vicinity as the investigation progresses.
