Deadly accident on eastbound I-80 in Vacaville causing lane closures
According to the California Highway Patrol, a deadly accident on Interstate 80 in Vacaville shut down all eastbound lanes early Wednesday morning. The incident took place around 7 a.m. near Leisure Town Road. CHP launched a significant investigation into the crash on the roadway and opened the far right lane to traffic by 7:45 a.m. As a result of the accident, traffic is being redirected off I-80 at Leisure Town and Interstate 505.
