Deadly accident in Pecos County: San Antonio resident dies in rollover crash
A fatal rollover crash occurred on Interstate 10 in Pecos County on Friday morning, resulting in the death of one individual. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash took place around 7:25 a.m. near mile marker 244 on I-10. The driver, identified as 47-year-old Maxenino Flores from San Antonio, was operating a 2004 Toyota Avalon at an excessive speed when he lost control while approaching a curve, leading to the vehicle skidding sideways and rolling over multiple times. Despite wearing a seat belt, Flores succumbed to his injuries after being taken to Pecos Memorial Hospital. The incident did not involve any other vehicles or cause additional injuries, and further investigation is ongoing.
