Dashcam video shows car crossing lanes before DTLA crash that injured 4
Dramatic dashcam video captured a hit-and-run driver crashing into several parked vehicles in downtown Los Angeles late Tuesday. The incident, recorded by a Tesla camera, occurred around 10:30 p.m. near 7th Street and South Hope Street outside the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles. Video shows a car traveling south on Hope Street suddenly make a sharp left turn, cross into oncoming traffic and plow into a row of parked vehicles. Three people sitting inside one of the parked cars were injured and taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to video service RMG News. A female passenger in the suspect's vehicle was also hurt and transported to a hospital. Witnesses said the driver initially ran from the scene but later returned and was arrested. There was no immediate word on what caused the crash or whether impairment was a factor.
