CSPD: Speed contest leads to deadly crash on Briargate
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A two-car head-on crash near the intersection of Briargate Boulevard and Lexington Drive resulted in the death of one person on Sunday night, March 22, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). According to CSPD, officers responded to a call about the crash at around 8 p.m. on Sunday, and when they arrived, they found that two vehicles had crashed head-on in the westbound lanes of Briargate Boulevard.
