CSFD: Vehicle collides with gas station near Powers Boulevard
A vehicle crashed into the storefront of a gas station on North Powers Boulevard in Colorado Springs on the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 27. The Colorado Springs Fire Department was alerted to the incident just before 1:30 p.m. that day. Upon arrival, emergency crews found that an SUV had collided with the front of the convenience store. The driver was examined at the scene and did not need to be transported to the hospital, with no other injuries reported. CSFD emphasized the importance of preventing such accidents, following another recent incident where a truck crashed into their Station 7. The department urged people to avoid rushing through life, slow down, and stay focused.
