Crash shuts down portion of I-81 in Cumberland County
A crash has shut down a portion of I-81 in Cumberland County on Thursday evening. According to emergency dispatch, a call came in just after 5 p.m. for a crash on I-81 southbound between Exit 59: PA 581 East/To U.S. 11- Camp Hill and Exit 57: PA 114 Mechanicsburg. There is a lane restriction in the area of Exit 59. News 8 does not know how many cars were involved or if anyone was injured, but there are multiple ambulances on scene.PennDOT cameras also showed a medivac helicopter on scene.
