Crash on Upstate highway leaves 1 dead, coroner says
A single-vehicle crash left one person dead in Abbeville County, South Carolina, on Tuesday morning.The Abbeville County Coroner's Office was called around 7:45 a.m. to respond to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 28 between Shrine Club Road and Magnolia Drive.According to Coroner Brad Evans, 34-year-old Codi L. Crawford of Abbeville was traveling south on Hwy 28 when the crash occurred.The investigation remains ongoing by the coroner's office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.Abbeville County EMS, Abbeville County Fire, Abbeville County Sheriff's Office, Abbeville County Coroner's Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
