Crash on Pellissippi Parkway in Alcoa to impact traffic for hours
ALCOA, Tenn. (WATE) — Alcoa police officers and firefighters are on the scene of a crash on Pellissippi Parkway that is expected to impact traffic for several hours. At 11:25 a.m. Thursday, Alcoa Police shared that crews had responded to the crash. According to Alcoa Police, both of the Alcoa Highway ramps that merge onto Pellissippi Parkway going toward Knoxville will be closed during crash reconstruction. That intersection is just north of McGhee Tyson Airport. Travelers are advised to find alternate routes to avoid the area.
