Crash near Moda Center prompts large police presence, road closures
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A traffic crash near the Moda Center prompted road closures in the area, as well as a heavy police presence Sunday afternoon. Just before 3:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of the crash at the intersection of North Multnomah Street and Interstate Avenue. Due to the on-scene investigation, the northbound lanes of Interstate Avenue are closed to traffic. Just before 4 p.m., TriMet also sent an alert noting MAX Orange and Yellow lines service were disrupted due to police activity near the Rose Quarter.
