Crash knocks down 2 poles at Austintown intersection
AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Hundreds of residents are without power Sunday after a crash in Austintown. According to FirstEnergy, over 400 customers have been without power all morning. Power is expected to be restored by 12 p.m. The crash happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Kirk Road and Route 46. Officials say they aren't sure what caused the crash, but no one was sent to the hospital. Two utility poles were knocked down, causing low-hanging wires. Kirk Road is closed near the scene. The crash is under investigation.
