Crash cuts power to nearly 3,000 PG&E customers in Madera
MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A crash that downed a power line cut power to nearly 3,000 residences in Madera Tuesday night. Police asked drivers to avoid the area of Granada Drive between National and Sunset while they worked with PG&E to clear downed power lines. According to the PG&E Outage Center, 2,985 people in the immediate area lost power just after the report. Power is not expected to be restored until 7 a.m. Wednesday. The cause of the crash and status of those involved are unknown, but updates will be provided as they become available.
