Crash closes part of I-70 in Hendricks County
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. -- A crash involving a semi closed part of I-70 in Hendricks County. According to an alert from the Indiana Department of Transportation citing Indiana State Police, the crash involves an injury and entrapment. It happened around 9:10 a.m. Thursday on I-70 eastbound near mile marker 62. That's near State Road 39 and about five miles west of Plainfield. Images from traffic cameras showed a semi off the side of the road. Emergency vehicles were blocking the interstate. A medical helicopter also landed at the scene. All eastbound lanes were closed, according to INDOT's traffic map. Traffic was being diverted at mile marker 59.4/State Road 39.
