Crash closes part of I-465 on the north side
INDIANAPOLIS -- A crash involving a semi closed part of I-465 on the north side of Indianapolis. This happened on westbound I-465 near mile marker 28 between Township Line Road and US 421. According to an Indiana Department of Transportation alert citing Indiana State Police, all westbound lanes were initially closed due to a crash involving a semi with a shifted load. After emergency vehicles arrived, traffic was able to get around in the left lane. The two right lanes remained closed. Around 9:35 a.m., all lanes temporarily closed for a wrecker.
