Crash closes part of Crain Highway in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- All traffic on Crain Highway (US 301) South in Prince George's County was delayed following a head-on collision on Friday. The crash occurred on Crain Highway near Dyson Road in the Brandywine area. Maryland State Police told DC News Now that troopers responded to the crash just after 3:30 a.m., where a tractor-trailer and a Toyota collided. Trooper's preliminary investigation noted that the Toyota and truck collided head-on, leaving both drivers hurt. The drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment. As of Friday morning, all southbound lanes and two northbound lanes remained blocked off.
