(WKRG) — The northbound lanes of Interstate 65 in Escambia County have been closed because of a crash, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. According to an ALEA news release, a two-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle happened just before 6:15 a.m. Monday, forcing the closure of the northbound lanes near mile marker 73. The lanes will be closed for an undetermined amount of time, according to the release. "Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are currently on scene investigating and will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly," the release said.
