Coroner responds to deadly crash reported on Pa. Turnpike in Westmoreland County
An investigation is underway after the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office said it responded to a fatal crash along the Pennsylvania Turnpike early Saturday morning. The incident was reported at 2:30 a.m. A Pennsylvania Turnpike spokesman told our news partners that this was a crash involving one vehicle. The coroner's office responded to the scene, but was unable to confirm the number of fatalities. The scene was cleared before 7 a.m. No other information has been released by officials on what led to the crash. This is a developing story.
