Coroner releases name of Walmart driver killed in crash

A driver died when a Walmart truck crashed on Interstate 26 in Laurens County, South Carolina, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. (Video from the scene above) Crash details: The crash happened about 3:40 a.m. in the westbound lanes at mile marker 49, which is near the I-26 and I-385 interchange. What video from the scene shows: Video from the scene taken just before 9 a.m. shows the truck partially on its side along the interstate and what was in the truck in the roadway. Sky 4 video below shows the scene around 9 a.m. It also shows the cab of the truck disconnected from the trailer. Information from troopers: Troopers said the truck was headed westbound on the interstate when it went off the right side of the road and overturned. The driver died. The coroner identified him as 67-year-old Michael Nanna, of Inman. Walmart releases statement about deadly crash A Walmart spokesperson provided the following statement: “We’re heartbroken by what’s happened. Our thoughts are with our associate’s family. We’re working with local law enforcement as they continue investigating.”More video from the scene below:
