Coroner IDs victim of multi-vehicle crash on SC-61: DCCO
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) - A Summerville man died after a multi-vehicle collision on State Highway 61 on Thursday, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office announced Friday. The coroner identified the victim of the crash as Bradley Jacob Phillips, 33, of Summerville. Phillips was traveling on SC-61 near Summers Corner before losing control of his vehicle and striking two oncoming vehicles at around 12:23 p.m., and was later pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner at 1:22 p.m. The drivers of the other vehicles were taken to a local hospital. The autopsy was performed on Friday at the Medical University of South Carolina. DCCO and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating this incident.
