Coroner IDs pickup truck driver killed in I-83 crash involving 2 tractor-trailers in York County
A York County man was killed in a crash on Interstate 83 on Monday, according to the coroner's office. A pickup truck and two tractor-trailers collided in the southbound lanes near Exit 33, Yocumtown/Route 392, in Newberry Township at 5:58 a.m. on June 29. According to the coroner, the pickup truck driver, Andrew Warner, 41, of Windsor Township, was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner ruled his death an accident. State police said neither of the tractor-trailer drivers was injured. All lanes of Interstate 83 southbound were closed between Exit 33, Yocumtown/Route 392, and Exit 32, Newberrytown/Route 382, for approximately seven hours.
