Coroner called to scene of multi-car crash in York County; several roads closed
More than a dozen emergency crews were called to the scene of a deadly multi-vehicle crash Friday morning that closed down roads at multiple York County intersections. The call came in at 5:27 a.m. at the 500 block of North Main Street in Windsor Township, where one person was said to be trapped in their vehicle after a crash. The York County Regional police told CBS 21 that the coroner was called to the scene. Road closures were reported near North Main Street and East Prospect Street, along with Lombard Road and Cape Horn Road, according to dispatch. York County Regional Police Department Police Chief Tim Damon urged motorists to avoid the area until further notice as an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
