Connection found between fatal I-64 collision in Frankfort and arson case in Georgia.

Kentucky State Police are currently looking into a fatal accident that occurred on Saturday morning, which is believed to be linked to a case of arson in Dalton, Georgia. The incident began when the Dalton Fire Department responded to a house fire on Grimes Street and found a severely burned body inside the home. Subsequently, a woman reported to the police that her brother confessed to killing his girlfriend, making him a person of interest in the case. The victim's car was missing, but Kentucky State Police later located it, leading to a pursuit that tragically ended in a crash on I-64 near Frankfort. The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the semi-truck involved was unharmed. The identities of those involved have not yet been disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing.
