Collision Shuts Down Route 140 in Carroll County
Several individuals were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Friday evening in Carroll County, according to Maryland State Police. The incident, which occurred at around 6:00 pm on Route 140 near Englar Road in Westminster, involved multiple vehicles. Four people were taken to hospitals following the collision. Authorities believe that icy conditions may have played a role in the accidents, and as a result, the westbound lanes of Route 140 have been closed.
