Clements Ferry Road reopens after deadly motorcycle crash
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - Clements Ferry Road reopened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, hours after a deadly crash involving a motorcyclist. The Charleston Police Department said its officers responded to the crash near Marina Drive just after 6:40 a.m. One lane in each direction of the roadway was closed during the morning rush hour, causing major delays in the area. Few details have been released; however, News 2 personnel said the accident appeared to have involved a tractor-trailer and the motorcycle. Additional details about the crash are expected to be released following CPD's investigation.
