Child dies in accident at Jackson apartment complex
Jackson police are currently looking into a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a two-year-old girl. The accident took place on December 26, 2025, in the 3700 block of Bailey Avenue. Reports indicate that the child's mother unintentionally struck her with a vehicle while leaving an apartment complex. The child was then taken to a nearby hospital but sadly passed away due to her injuries.
