Child dies following accident in Greeley: Authorities
A tragic incident occurred in Greeley on Monday when a young child lost her life in a multi-vehicle collision. The Greeley Police Department reported that the crash, which took place at 22nd Street and U.S. 85 around 2:15 p.m., involved a Ford Focus, a Tesla, and a semitrailer. Details reveal that a 24-year-old woman driving the Focus was making a left turn onto 22nd Street when her vehicle was hit on the passenger side by the Tesla driven by a 51-year-old woman. The impact caused both cars to collide with a semitrailer at the intersection. Sadly, the five-year-old passenger in the Focus was critically injured and despite first responders' efforts, did not survive. The Focus driver sustained minor injuries, while the Tesla and semitrailer drivers were unharmed.
